English is the main language spoken at the project. Volunteers do not need to have previous teaching experience, just patience and an open mind. We are also looking for people with administrative skills to help us write reports, answer emails, etc.
$100 per week for a single person, $150 per week for couples. This fee covers private room (most with ensuite), food, transportation around Accra that relates to the program, some sightseeing, and other basic living costs.

Our project is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that offers a blend of programmes and services for children and young people. Presently we are offering IT classes and require volunteers with basic IT skills to teach youngsters. We also require trainee or experienced teachers to teach in local schools in various subjects. Also people to teach English as a foreign language. We have applied for a grant to open a centre for children with disabilities, and if successful will require volunteers to help look after the children during the day.
Our project aims to enhance the quality of lives of children and young people through a structured intervention and advocacy programme that offers opportunity for development. Working closely in line with National, Governmental and International Organisations, NGO's and Volunteers, the programme aims to empower children and young people achieve their potential in life. The Projects Head office is located in Adenta, Accra Ghana. The organisation provides residence for young people on the international exchange from overseas and placement training for Ghanain children and young people. Facilities are accommodation (10 bedrooms), a large Kitchen, Communal lounge, Conference Hall, Computer Rooms and Offices for the programme staff. The guesthouse has very beautiful surroundings, plenty of space for out door activities and our friendly team will make your stay productive and comfortable. Volunteers typically teach 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. Friday-Sunday is free time, and we often organize trips around the country so volunteers can experience Ghana.
