Teaching English for the rural children those who have been getting free english education through sponsorship. Sri Ramana Matriculation School provides quality education to disadvantaged children in the rural communities surrounding the sacred mountain Arunachala. Established in 1988, the school is funded by the nonprofit Arunachalam Trust. Volunteers should have sympathy and patients to be with these rural children.
Required Skills:
Volunteer should know English.
Costs:
To and fro mtrips from Chennai Airport to project site, house for stay, sight seeing and three times meals and one time tea for all these needed for a month is $ 600 for the first month and $ 300 for every additional month.
